曲のインスパイアーは、ブライアン・メイの2番めの妻Anita Dobson（イギリスのTVタレント）で、彼女は"I want it all and I want it now."と言うのが口癖だったそうです。
女性が"I want it all and I want it now."というと、かなり貪欲に聞こえますね。それもそのはず、彼女との浮気が元でBrianは、最初の妻と破局したのですが、当時とても落ち込んだそうです。とはいえ、歌にしてしまうのは、さすがと思いませんか？
